The American Poolplayers Association runs the largest and most exciting amateur tournaments in North America! Every year thousands of APA members visit and compete in these tournaments, where more than $1.5 Million in prize money is awarded!
National Team Championships
August 16-25, 2012, Las Vegas, NV*
The culmination of weekly APA League play is the APA National Team Championships, held annually at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. This event consists of three individual National Team Championships: Open 8-Ball, Ladies 8-Ball and Open 9-Ball. Preregistered 8 and 9-Ball Doubles Championships, the Masters Championship and the Wheelchair Challenge, as well as MiniMania events also run in conjunction with the National Team Championships.
A $25,000 cash prize is up-for-grabs in the Open 8-Ball Division! The Ladies 8-Ball Division provides $10,000 cash in 1st Place prize money and $15,000 cash is awarded to the Open 9-Ball Division champion!

National Singles Championships
April 25-28, 2012, Las Vegas, NV*
The culmination of the APA Singles Program is the APA National Singles Championships, held annually at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. This event consists of two individual National Singles Championships—the 8-Ball Classic and 9-Ball Shootout (April 26 - 28, 2012*) and is run in conjunction with the Jack & Jill Championship and MiniMania events.
The 8-Ball Classic provides a $15,000 cash and prize package to the winner of each Skill Level Tier. There are four tiers in the 8-Ball Classic—Blue (SLs 2-3), Yellow (SL4), Red (SL5) and Purple (SLs 6-7). The 9-Ball Shootout has a $10,000 cash and prize package for the winner in each of three tiers—Green (SLs 1-3), White (SLs 4-5) and Black (SLs 6-9).

U.S. Amateur Championship
November 2-4, 2012
The best of the best come and show their skills in the most prestigious amateur pool tournament—the U.S. Amateur Championship. Those who enter this event will experience the highest level of amateur billiard play in the United States! Preliminary rounds are held in late September, with winners advancing to the championship rounds in November. The winner in both the Mens and Womens Division receives a magnificent marble and bronze trophy, event jacket and paid entry into a Pro event the following year.

MiniMania Tournaments
During each of the National Championships, APA hosts MiniMania events nearly round-the-clock. These consist of a variety of formats, providing APA members with as many opportunities as possible to compete in Las Vegas. They're open to all current APA members with at least 10 League match scores. MiniMania is a great opportunity to experience an APA National Tournament!

April 25-27, 2012*
Held in conjunction with the APA National Singles Championships, the APA Jack & Jill Championship is an 8-Ball Doubles event. Teams must consist of one gentleman and one lady, with a combined skill level limit of 10. |
APA Masters Championship
August 19-22, 2012*
The APA Masters Championship is held in conjunction with the APA National Team Championships. The event has no skill level limit and teams consist of up to 4 players, with 3 competing in each match. |
APA 8-Ball Doubles Championship
August 16-18, 2012*
Held in conjunction with the APA National Team Championships, the 8-Ball Doubles Championship is open to any combination of male/female teams with a skill level limit of 10. The event is alternate shot. |
